We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner for Intelligent Industry and Defence & Space business areas to join our finance team. In this role, you will act as a key partner to business leadership, bringing analytical strength to decision-making, challenging assumptions with data, and creating a clear view of where the business is heading.

Role

In this role, you will act as the primary finance partner for the Intelligent Industry and Defence & Space business areas. Leadership turns to you before decisions are made.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Monthly revenue recognition process for your business areas

• Profitability monitoring and risk assessment for fixed-price projects

• Preparing and facilitating monthly forecast meetings with business leadership

• Monthly revenue, margin and cost analyses, plus ad hoc analysis as needed

• Reporting to management and owners

• Active contribution to finance process development, including AI tool adoption

• Participating in M&A financial due diligence and integrations for your areas

The role requires close collaboration with multiple stakeholders across the organisation, and the ability to translate numbers into clear, actionable insights for non-finance audiences.

What We’re looking for

Required

• 6+ years of experience in consulting, business controlling, FP&A or another analytical finance role

• Solid understanding of project business (revenue recognition, costs, margins, forecasting, project risk management)

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modelling)

• Ability to turn analytical findings into clear communication for non-finance stakeholders

• Fluent Finnish and English

• Master’s degree in economics, accounting, finance or equivalent

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite

• Experience with Tagetik or other consolidation / management reporting tools

• Exposure to IFRS reporting or multi-country intercompany accounting

• Data visualisation skills (Tableau, Power BI or similar)

• Experience using AI tools in a finance context
